Impeachment & Resignation of Richard Nixon

On the night of June 17, 1972 5 burglars broke into the Democratic commissioning offices inside the Watergate complex. This was the beginning of a series of events in which chairwo piece Nixon and a few of his followers were involved in. On July 27 the first clause of impeachment was submitted and later approved by the dramaturgy of Judiciary Committee. A few days later the deuce-ace and final article of impeachment was submitted and approved. In these articles electric chair Nixon was charged with hinderance of Justice, Abuse of Power, and Contempt of Congress.
In the first article, chairwoman Nixon was charged with Obstruction of Power. The article stated that he used his index as president to delay and obstruct the investigation on the Watergate incident. This article accused Nixon of Abuse of Power. Nixon used his power as President to violate the constitutional rights of citizens. He used grownup amounts of government money and private funds as bribes to get people to install wire taps in the building of his political enemies in order to spy on them and if needed fire them. This information makes me feel that Nixon was a very paranoid man who was afraid of losing his power and that he went to a very large extent to make sure he never did. President Nixon used illegal means to gain the upper go through on his political enemies.
