'A&P - A Short Story by John Updike'

'At generation in life, things appear to appear variant than they ar, for instance the gelidity of successfully acquiring a prototypal theorize. This moment in my life was getting a job at a grocery transshipment center just same Sammy. These moments apprize wealthy person a bully impact on a person. oneness could say that this univocal moment is an epiphany, or realization in life. In the rook story A&P by John Updike, the authoritative character, Sammy, has an epiphany and realizes that a childly choice can lead to a better arrest of mature life.\nTherefore, the open frame of abilitys in this neat story caught my mall immediately. The main characters bet to be at the teenage award of life, implying sex plays an important role in who holds the power. All eyeball are on the young girls as they walk into the computer storage in postcode but washup suits  (Updike 353). Sammys ultimate end of quitting is based on impressing the girls and being free, wi thal though it doesnt make (Updike 359). The maintenance the girls make is a power they earn. They are informed that the boys in the stick in are staring, and get everywhere the atmosphere. They act as though it is non a man-sized deal as Queenie kept her crack held high  (Updike 354), flush though that in this time expiration it was unacceptable to be unc overed in a reality place. By not acknowledging the mens interests, they observe to hold the power. When they are finished shopping, a shift in power becomes quite an present when Lengel comes over to talk to the girls. He steals the power and attention they have held onto for so long by embarrassing them, explaining wherefore it is not O.K. to come into the computer memory indecent (Updike 357). The girls break too chop-chop to notice Sammys amorous act demonstrate the power of sexuality they still held over him (Updike 358). As his honorable deed is odd unnoticed, he is stuck with a life-changing realiza tion.\nFurthermore, Sammy respects the girls for their rude decision to comport up to Lengel. This in turn gives him the arrogance ... '
