The Islam, Mahoma, and its expansion.
The Islam religion was created by Mahoma. Islam means Submission to the will of idol. This religion says that if you want to reach a full subject of peace in your mind you have to summit to graven image (Ala) and live according to his laws. They had a sacred book called the Quran, which has Alas words.
Mahoma was born in the year 570 AD, in La Meca. His parents died when he was very young, so he was raised by his granddad and therefore by his uncle. He married a often older woman and worked as a merchant. Supposedly he had a vision telling him to preach about the Islam. He started preaching and with time got a lot of followers by and large from the poor classes. People in the higher classes started to see him as a threat and started persecuting him and his followers. He escaped, going to Medina, where he was rejected by the Jews. He kept on preaching, and got more than followers. During his give out years, the Islam religion started expanding.
The Quran said that if a Muslim died fleck fighting for the Islam, they would go to Heaven, so the Islam religion started expanding little by little. It started in Jerusalem and Syria. Then they were able to conquer Persia, then Egypt, Cyprus, Tunisia, and then they were able to get to the Atlantic Ocean.



To the other side, they got to Samarkand, Indias borders, and finally got to Central Asia, after the battle of Talas.
The expansion was affectionate because many Jews and Christians started considering the Islam more reasonable and logical.
