Short Story Essay: Night, Elie Wiesel

In Night, Elie Wiesel describes his experience as a young Jewish boy during the holocaust. The captured Jews were enslaved and taken to niggardliness camps, where they experience the worst forms of torture, violence, and in military mane treatment. The Jews in the story had to catch tremendous difficulties and were forced to abandon their homes, all their possessions, and eventually their humanity. Wiesel explains how the national socialists Anti-Semitic policies led to the dehumanization and death of millions Jews.
The Nazis impose many rules and regulations against the Jews during the Holocaust. At the beginning of the book, they were forced out of their homes and into ghettos. The briary wire that encircled us like a groin did not fill us with fear (Wiesel, pg. 11). There slump to food, water and basic necessities of life were stripped out period they lived at the Nazi concentration camps. All of these rights, that every human being deserves, were taken away by force in an attempt to eradicate the Jews. The Nazis had deemed the Jews racially inferior and under temper of the notorious Dr. Mengele (Wiesel, pg. 31), Jews were slated for death and human experiments.
Wiesel and his family were taken to Auschwitz.

Throughout the story levels of human requirements were slowly stripped away for the Jews. Breaking them down mentally, physically, and spiritually was part of the genocide surgical operation the Nazis inflicted. Years down the line prisoners had no interest for anyone around themselves.
